Melissa Nathan

Melissa Nathan (born June 13, 1968 in Hertfordshire , † April 7, 2006 in London ) was a British writer .

Nathan attended Haberdashers Girls School and spent her free time dancing and performing at the theater. She was later offered a place at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, but she preferred to study communications at Glamergan University in Pontypridd , where she graduated in 1989 . During her student days, she developed a passion for writing. She did a postgraduate degree in journalism from Cardiff University and worked for various magazines for 10 years. She was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2001 . In 2003 her book The Nanny became a bestseller . Nathan did not live to see the publication of her last book The Learning Curve .

Melissa Nathan died on April 7, 2006. Cancer . She was married and had a son.
