Melissa Satta (born February 7, 1986 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is an American - Italian model , presenter and actress .

life and career

Satta was born in 1986 in Boston as the daughter of Mariangela Muzzu and the architect Enzo Satta. Her parents are from Sardinia . She lived equally in the USA, but also on her parents' home island. Satta has two brothers. After high school , she graduated from the private university Università di comunicazione e lingue with a degree in communication science .

She started her modeling career at the age of 16. In 2005 she could be heard as the voice of some Telecom Italia advertising sports . From 2006 she presented various programs on Italian television and was seen on MTV Italia and Fashion TV, among others. In 2010 she was featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and six months later in Maxim . She also worked as a presenter for Sky Italia from 2010 .

Private

Satta has been in a relationship with the German - Ghanaian soccer player Kevin-Prince Boateng since October 2011 . Their son was born on April 15, 2014. The couple married in June 2016. Before their relationship with Boateng, she had lived with Italian striker Christian Vieri for five years .
