Melkam Gizaw Tola (born September 17, 1990 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .
Career
In 2009 she finished second in the Reims Marathon . The following year she was fourth in the Paris half marathon , sixth in the Paris marathon and won in Reims. In 2011, an eighth place in Paris was followed by a sixth place in the Eindhoven Marathon . In 2012 Melkam Gizaw Tola came third in the Düsseldorf Marathon .
In October 2015 she won the Ljubljana Marathon and in 2016 she came second in the Seoul International Marathon .
