Melvin Shapiro
Melvin Shapiro (born May 6, 1925 - December 4, 2007 ) was an American film editor .
Melvin Shapiro began working in film editing in the late 1950s. In 1977 he was nominated for the British Academy Film Award for Best Editing by Taxi Driver (together with Tom Rolf ).
Until 1988 he worked on around 60 TV and feature film productions.
