Donnie, a wealthy but severely troubled veteran of the Vietnam War , has a bitter young wife (Mara). She wants to drive him to suicide. Mara intends to achieve her goal with the help of an old flame and a few scattered horror effects. But their plan backfires. And suddenly Mara is the hunted.
