Menara Telecom is a skyscraper located in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia , which is one of the tallest buildings in the world . It is 310 meters high and thus the third tallest building in the city and also in the country after The Exchange 106 and the Petronas Towers .

The building was completed in 2001. There are 55 floors, most of which are home to offices, which form the center of the telecommunications company. Menara Telekom was designed by the architect Hijas Kasturi. The appearance was influenced by the so-called bamboo shoot , the bamboo plant . This resulted in nine open gardens on one side of the building, which are illuminated at night. The helicopter landing pad on the roof is the highest in the world after that of the US Bank Tower .
