The Merkez Parti ( German Center Party or Party of the Middle ) is a center- right party in Turkey founded on June 2, 2014 by Abdurrahim Karslı . It is said to be close to the Gülen movement of the Muslim preacher Fethullah Gülen . Unlike the Democratic Development Party (DGP), however, the Center Party denies ties to Gülen.
Their motto is translated: "I" and "she" will end, it will be "we"!
With the resignation of parliamentary member Ercan Cengiz from the Kemalist Republican People's Party (CHP) founded by state founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his change to the Center Party, the Center Party has been represented with one member in the Grand National Assembly since January 25, 2015 .
Politicians from the Motherland Party , the right-wing extremist Party of the Nationalist Movement (MHP) and the Democratic Left Party (DSP) from Masum Türker joined the Center Party .
