Metodija Spasovski ( Macedonian Методија Спасовски , Serbo-Croatian Metodije Spasovski ; born February 4, 1946 in Skopje ) is a former Yugoslav football player.
Career
Metodija Spasovski came from Vardar Skopje to 1. FC Saarbrücken in 1974 in the 2. Bundesliga . With the Saarlanders he rose in the 1975/76 season in the Bundesliga . In the 1976/77 season he played his first of nine Bundesliga games against Borussia Dortmund on matchday two. After the season he returned to his hometown club.
In 1968/69 he was a member of the Yugoslav national soccer team , for which he scored three goals in three games, two of them in the game against Belgium on October 19, 1969 in qualifying for the 1970 World Cup .
In 1988/89 he was the coach of the FK Vardar club.
