MiTacq
Michel Tacq alias MiTacq (born June 10, 1927 in Uccle , † May 22, 1994 in Loverval ) was a Belgian cartoonist .
Career
In his youth, Tacq was a boy scout , which would become his main subject as a comic artist. His first comic series appeared in 1944, and in 1954 he made his debut in the comic magazine Spirou with his series La Patrouille des Castors (“Die Biber-Patrouille”, in German mainly known as The Blue Panthers ) . There were 30 albums in this series up to 1993. Most of the scenarios for this were provided by the author Jean-Michel Charlier . Between 1959 and 1968 he drew a second series of scouts for Pilote magazine entitled Jaques Le Gall . Charlier also wrote the texts for this.
