Mia Lyhne (born July 6, 1971 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish actress .

Life

Lyhne acquired her acting skills autodidactically and was only admitted to the Statens Teaterskole in Copenhagen after several unsuccessful attempts . Before that she worked in the theater and singing group at Vesterbro Ungdomsgård , where she made her first appearances. She also worked at the Teater Grob , a student stage that she co-initiated and founded in 1996. Mia Lyhne was active at Bellevue Teatret from 1995 to 2000 and played the camomilla in Thorbjørn Egner's play Die Räuber von Kardemomme ( Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by ) . In the Danish version of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? she performed together with the actor Nikolaj Lie Kaas . She also worked as a presenter on the Danish children's radio (Børneradio) and appeared in the radio theater ( Radioteatret ). Lyhne starred in several film and television productions, as she stepped from 2005 to 2009 in the Danish series Klovn the station TV 2 Zulu Mia on. She also appeared in the television series Krøniken . Greater awareness reached in TV2 telecast Vild med dans where on June 4, 2005, she won the final with her partner Thomas Evers Poulsen. In 2006 she played the role as Heidi A. in Lars von Trier's The Boss of It All and in 2007 one of the main characters in the Danish sitcom series Trio Van Gogh .

With a music group she released the song Mia Lyhne in 2006 under the label MIA Lyhne as a tribute to herself. For this she was nominated in 2007 for the Zulu Award . For the 2007 Folketing elections , she supported the Socialistisk Folkeparti and their candidate Villy Søvndal during the election campaign .

In 2002 she received the Årets Reumert Young Talent Award for her performance in Udvidelsen af ​​kamp Zonen at Kongelige Teater .

In 2013 she was awarded the Ove Sprogøe Prize .
