Michael Arattukulam (born April 17, 1910 in Arthunkal , Kerala , British India , † March 20, 1995 ) was Bishop of Alleppey .

Life

Michael Arattukulam received on August 29, 1937, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 19, 1952, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Alleppey. The Patriarch of Lisbon , Manuel Cardinal Gonçalves Cerejeira , donated him episcopal ordination on December 7th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Goa and Daman , José da Costa Nunes , and the Coadjutor Archbishop of Goa and Daman, José Vieira Alvernaz .

On April 28, 1984, Pope John Paul II accepted Michael Arattukulam's resignation due to reasons of age.
