Peter Michael Chenaparampil

Peter Michael Chenaparampil (born December 8, 1929 in Manakodam , † April 18, 2013 in Ernakulam ) was Bishop of Alleppey .

Life

Peter Michael Chenaparampil was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Alleppey on June 1, 1956 .

John Paul II named him Coadjutor Bishop of Alleppey on November 19, 1982 . The Bishop of Alleppey, Michael Arattukulam , ordained him episcopal on September 4 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Joseph Gabriel Fernandez , Bishop of Quilon and Cornelius Elanjikal , Bishop of Vijayapuram .

After Michael Arattukulam's retirement , he succeeded him on April 28, 1984 as Bishop of Alleppey. On March 3, 2001, Pope John Paul II accepted his health-related resignation.
