The Roman Catholic Diocese of Alleppey ( lat. : Dioecesis Alleppeyensis ) is in India situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Alappuzha (Alleppey).

history

The Diocese of Alleppey was on June 19, 1952 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Ea Redemptoris from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Cochin and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Verapoly as a suffragan . On June 17, 2004, the Diocese of Alleppey was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Trivandrum as a suffragan.
