Michael Biedermann (born July 5, 1996 ) is a Liechtenstein cross-country skier .

Career

Biedermann, who starts for the Nordic Club Liechtenstein, appeared internationally for the first time at the European Olympic Winter Youth Festival 2013 in Predeal . There he came 71st place in the sprint, 51st place over 7.5 km classic and 47th place over 10 km freestyle. At the 2014 Junior World Championships in Fiemme Valley , he achieved 83rd place over 10 km classic and 80th place in skiathlon and at the Junior World Championships 2015 in Almaty 77th place over 10 km freestyle, 63rd place in skiathlon and 54th place in the sprint. The following year he ran at the Junior World Championships in Râşnov each on the 66th place over 15 km freestyle and 10 km classic and on the 60th place in the sprint. In December 2016, he started in Valdidentro in the Alpine Cup for the first time , finishing 67th over 15 km freestyle and 44th over 15 km classic. At the 2017 U23 World Championships in Soldier Hollow , he finished 40th in the sprint. In March 2017, in St. Ulrich am Pillersee, he scored his first points in the Alpine Cup with 28th place in the 30 km mass start race. He made his debut in the World Cup in December 2017 in Davos . He achieved 96th place in the sprint and 106th place over 15 km freestyle. At the U23 World Championships 2018 in Goms he ran on 59th place over 15 km classic and 33rd place in the sprint and at the U23 World Championships 2019 in Lahti 68th place over 15 km freestyle and 59th place in the sprint and in the 30 km mass start race. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in February 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , he finished 75th in the sprint and 24th place together with Martin Vögeli in the team sprint.
