Michael Boettge

Michael Boettge (born December 4, 1950 in Frankfurt am Main ; † October 20, 2010 ) was a German television and stage actor .

Boettge completed his acting training at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, followed by engagements in Dortmund, Pforzheim and Karlsruhe. In Vienna he played at the Theater in der Josefstadt , later he moved to the Bavarian State Theater in Munich. At the same time he worked in over sixty television films, television series and literary adaptations.

From 1978 to 1980 he played the game announcer in Jedermann at the Salzburg Festival . From 1985 to 2010 he was part of the ensemble of the Luisenburg Open Air Festival near Wunsiedel, where he made his debut as Puck in Midsummer Night's Dream , but also played roles as varied as Lucky in Waiting for Godot , Jacques in As You Like It , Cardinal Richelieu in the three musketeers or the pantalone in the servant of two masters . Shortly before his death he was seen in the Luisenburg production of the Rocky Horror Show .
