Michael Bußer (born November 15, 1960 in Offenbach am Main ) is State Secretary in the Hessian State Chancellery and spokesman for the Hessian state government . Busser has been a member of the CDU since 1979 .

Career

After his Abitur (1980) at the Einhard-Gymnasium in Seligenstadt , Busser trained as a detective at the Hessian Police School in Wiesbaden until 1983 . He then worked until 1988 as a detective at the Frankfurt am Main police headquarters . He then took time off to study journalism and history , with additional studies in political science , at TU Dortmund University . He finished his studies in 1993. From 1990 to 1991 Bußer was a volunteer at the Neue Ruhr Zeitung / Neue Rhein Zeitung in Essen . From 1993 to 1999 Bußer was press spokesman and head of the public relations and marketing department at the Thuringian state development company . Subsequently, Busser was the press spokesman and head of the press and public relations department of the Hessian Ministry of the Interior and for Sport and deputy head of the ministerial office until August 2010 .

On August 31, 2010, he succeeded Dirk Metz as State Secretary and spokesman for the Hessian state government in the Bouffier I cabinet . Buss is Catholic, married and has one child. He lives in Froschhausen . In his youth, Busser was a footballer at Kickers Offenbach . He played in midfield in a team with Rudi Völler .
