Michael Clemens (born September 19, 1968 ) is a former German ice hockey player .

Career

The striker Michael Clemens was part of the squad of the league club EC Hannover from 1985 . In the 1987/88 season he moved to league rivals Herford EG before returning to Hanover. For EC Hannover, Clemens completed 15 games in the 2nd Bundesliga North in the 1988/89 season , in which he did not score. After a year break, Michael Clemens joined the regional division ESC Wedemark in 1990 , with whom he first celebrated the championship in the Regionalliga Nord in the 1990/91 season and then made it to the Oberliga Nord.

With Wedemark, Clemens reached third place in each of the following two years before moving to the regional division EHC Salzgitter in 1993 . With Salzgitter he made it into the second-rate first division north in the 1994/95 season and moved to the second division north during the 1995/96 season for Herford EC . The Herford EC had to withdraw its team at the end of the season. In 1999, Clemens was promoted to the Oberliga Nord with the Herford EC, which was followed by another withdrawal at the end of the season. In the 2000/01 season he let his career end in the 1b team of SV Brackwede 1b .
