Michael Cornelis C. Coomans
Michael Cornelis C. Coomans MSF (born June 5, 1933 in Loon op Zand , † May 6, 1992 ) was a Dutch priest and bishop of Samarinda .
Life
Michael Cornelis C. Coomans joined the Order of Missionaries of the Holy Family , made his profession on September 7, 1954, and was ordained a priest on July 24, 1960 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Samarinda on November 30, 1987 .
The Archbishop of Pontianak , Jerome Herculanus Bumbun OFM , ordained him on February 14 of next year for Bishops ; Co- consecrators were Fransiskus Xaverius Rocharjanta Prajasuta MSF, Bishop of Banjarmasin , and Francis Xavier Sudartanta Hadisumarta OCarm , Bishop of Malang .
