Michael Fishman

Michael Fishman ( real name: Michael Desmond Quatil ; born October 22, 1981 in Long Beach , California ) is an American film actor .

Life

Fishman grew up as the second of three children of the couple Eric Quatil and Denatu Guotayla Quatil-Fishman. His younger brother Matthew (* 1991) is also an actor. His older sister is named Robyn and was born in 1978.

His first acting engagement was in 1988 when Fishman starred as DJ Conner on the long-running sitcom Roseanne . After the series ended in 1997, he hardly received any film or television offers. Only two guest appearances in Seinfeld and Walker, Texas Ranger and a guest speaking role in the cartoon series Hey Arnold! followed. In 2001, Fishman first appeared on the big screen in a small role in Steven Spielberg's science fiction film AI - Artificial Intelligence . Since 2018 he has been in front of the camera in the Roseanne spin-off series The Conners as an adult DJ Conner .

Fishman is committed to social institutions. So he worked in a daycare center . In this way he met his future wife, Jennifer, who was his boss for two years. On October 22, 1999, on Fishman's 18th birthday, the two married and now have two children.

Awards

Fishman was nominated three times for his work on Roseanne for the Young Artist Award and won the award in 1995. He was also once nominated for the YoungStar Award . In 1996 he received an Emmy TV award nomination .
