Michael Huber (Vicar General)

Michael Huber MSC (* 1964 ) is a German religious priest and vicar general .

Life

Michael Huber grew up in the Swabian town of Monheim in Bavaria and graduated from high school. He did his basic military service as a medic . He then began studying economics and social sciences with a focus on business administration at the University of Augsburg , which he graduated with a degree in economics. In 1991 he became a novice among the Sacred Heart Missionaries in Salzburg and made his perpetual profession in 1996 . Between 1992 and 1997 he studied theology and religious education . In 1997, the Weihe done for deacon and in 1998 he was in Donauwörth for priests ordained. Then he was the parish administrator in Zirgesheim .

Since 2001 he has been chairman of the Financial Advisory Board of the Sacred Heart Missionaries in Rome and after a time as a school chaplain at the Heilig-Kreuz secondary school in Donauwörth, he was novice master in Nitra from 2004 . Since 2009 he has worked as a parish administrator in Eichstätt-Rebdorf and Obereichstätt . On February 1, 2019, he took over the function of deputy vicar general of the diocese of Eichstätt and on September 1, 2019 that of vicar general.
