Michael Hughes Kenny (born June 26, 1937 in Hollywood , California , USA , † February 19, 1995 ) was Bishop of Juneau .

Life

Michael Hughes Kenny received on 30 March 1963, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 22, 1979, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Juneau. Pope John Paul II gave him episcopal ordination on May 27 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Curia Archbishops Eduardo Martínez Somalo , substitute in the Vatican State Secretariat , and Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples .
