Michael Krauss

Michael Krauss (born January 13, 1983 in Hohenklingen, Knittlingen , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German fistball player .

Life

Krauss comes from a district of Knittlingen in the Enzkreis , Baden-Württemberg . He first played for TV Hohenklingen. In the Bundesliga he represented the sports association Weil der Stadt in the key position of batsman for years . With this club he was the first to complete the first Bundesliga South several times, but did not get beyond third place in the German championship finals. In 2005, Krauss (5 senior internationals) was part of the German team that won the bronze medal at the World Games in Duisburg .

After the descent of Weil der Stadt in the 2007 field season, Krauss switched to TV Vaihingen / Enz . With his new team, he immediately won the German indoor championship in 2008. Krauss was voted the best attacker at the finals in Aschaffenburg .

For the world championship held in Oldenburg and the surrounding area in August 2007 , Krauss was not considered by national coach Olaf Neuenfeld . However, he was one of the 18 candidates for the European Championship in July 2008 in Stuttgart-Stammheim , but, according to reports from the Vaihinger Kreiszeitung and the Pforzheimer Zeitung, canceled in April for private and professional reasons.

Michael Krauss comes from a fistball family. His older sister, Sandra Harsch, took part in championship finals several times with TSV Niedernhall. His mother Heidi Krauss had several appearances as a referee and represented TV Hohenklingen as a player during the 2007 field season in the second Bundesliga South. At the same club, father Theodor Krauss was the head of the fistball department.
