Michael Marai
Michael Marai (* 1948 in Muschu ) is former bishop of Goroka .
Life
Michael Marai was ordained a priest on December 6, 1976 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Wewak diocese . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Goroka on October 25, 1988 .
The Archbishop of Madang , Leo Clement Andrew Arkfeld SVD , ordained him bishop on February 23 of the next year ; Co - consecrators were Antonio Maria Vegliò , Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands , and Benedict To Varpin , Bishop of Bereina .
He resigned from his office on November 15, 1994.
