Michael Pabst (born August 7, 1942 in Graz ) is an Austrian opera singer ( tenor ).

Life

After his training in Austria, Pabst worked as a choir singer at the Vienna State Opera between 1972 and 1980 . First solo roles followed at the Salzburg State Theater and the Augsburg Theater . Further stations in his career included engagements at the Volksoper Vienna , the Cologne Opera House and the Vienna State Opera.

In 1984 and 1985 he was the first Knight of the Grail in the Bayreuth Parsifal , which was then published as a complete recording by Philips (1985).
