Michael Patrick Olatunji Fagun

Michael Patrick Olatunji Fagun (born April 17, 1935 in Akure ) is a former bishop of the Ekiti diocese in Nigeria .

Life

Michael Patrick Olatunji Fagun was ordained a priest on July 4, 1965 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Ondo diocese . Paul VI appointed him on June 28, 1971 auxiliary bishop in Ondo and titular bishop of Casae Nigrae .

The Bishop of Ondo , William Richard Field SMA , ordained him bishop on October 10 of that year ; Co- consecrators were Lucas Olu Chukwuka Nwaezeapu , Bishop of Warri , and Anthony Saliu Sanusi , Bishop of Ijebu-Ode .

On July 30, 1972, he was appointed Bishop of Ekiti . On April 17, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
