The Bistum Warri ( lat. : Dioecesis Varriensis ) is in Nigeria preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Warri .
history
The diocese Warri was on March 10, 1964 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Legem Christi from cessions of territory of the diocese of Benin City . On March 17, 1991, the Diocese of Warri gave up parts of its territory to establish the Mission sui juris Bomadi . The Diocese of Warri was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Benin City as a suffragan on March 26, 1994 .
