John 'Oke Afareha

John 'Oke Afareha (born March 10, 1947 in Oleh , Nigeria ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and Bishop of Warri .

Life

John 'Oke Afareha received the sacrament of ordination for the Diocese of Warri on December 30, 1973 .

On 3 March 1997 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Mina and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Warri. The Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Cardinal Jozef Tomko , ordained him episcopal on May 14th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Onitsha , Albert Kanene Obiefuna , and the Archbishop of Benin City , Patrick Ebosele Ekpu . On March 29, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Warri. The inauguration took place the following day.
