Haraldsted Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ringsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Ringsted Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which became part of the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

1061 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Haraldsted Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are in the east Valsølille Sogn , in the southeast Vigersted Sogn , in the south Benløse Sogn and Ringsted Sogn , in the southwest Bringstrup Sogn and in the west Allindemagle Sogn , furthermore in the neighboring Holbæk municipality in the west Store Tåstrup Sogn and in the north Kirke Eskilstrup Sogn .
