Kirke Eskilstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Merløse Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Tølløse Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Holbæk Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
1140 inhabitants live in the parish, 678 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Kirke Eskilstrup Kirke" is located in the parish.
Neighboring municipalities are Store Tåstrup Sogn in the west, Tølløse Sogn in the north-west and Soderup Sogn in the north and east , and in the neighboring Ringsted municipality in the south-east Valsølille Sogn and in the south Haraldsted Sogn .
