Tveje Merløse Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to the Harde Merløse Herred in the then Holbæk office , then to the Holbæk municipality in the Vestsjællands office , which was merged into the "new" Holbæk municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
Of the 28,833 inhabitants of Holbæk, 12,690 live in the parish of Tveje Merløse (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Tveje Merløse Kirke" is located in the parish.
Neighboring communities are Sankt Nikolai Sogn in the east, Grandløse Sogn in the south-east, Sønder Asmindrup Sogn in the south, Søstrup Sogn in the south-west and Tuse Sogn in the west .
