Mørkøv Sogn is a former parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Tuse Herred in the then Holbæk office , then to the Tornved municipality in the Vestsjællands office , which was merged into the Holbæk municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 . On December 1, 2015, Mørkøv Sogn and the neighboring Stigs Bjergby Sogn to the west were merged to form Stigs Bjergby-Mørkøv Sogn .

On October 1, 2015, 1,964 people lived in the parish and 1,814 people lived in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Mørkøv Kirke" is located in the parish.

In addition to Stigs Bjergby Sogn, neighboring communities were Kundby Sogn in the north, Butterup Sogn in the northeast, Nørre Jernløse Sogn in the east, Sønder Jernløse Sogn in the southeast, Frydendal Sogn in the south and Skamstrup Sogn in the southwest .
