Sankt Nikolai Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the town of Holbæk on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Merløse Herred in the then Holbæk office , then to the Holbæk municipality in the expanded Holbæk office, which was merged into the "new" Holbæk municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
Of the 28,833 inhabitants of Holbæk, 13,558 live in the parish of Sankt Nikolai (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Sankt Nikolai Kirke" is located in the parish.
Neighboring municipalities are Tveje Merløse Sogn in the west, Grandløse Sogn in the south-west and east , which is divided into two parts by Sankt Nikolai Sogn and Ågerup Sogn, which is adjacent to the south .
