Søstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Merløse Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Jernløse Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Holbæk Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
655 inhabitants live in the parish, 356 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Søstrup Kirke".
