Butterup-Tuse Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark , which was created on December 2, 2012 by merging the Tuse Sogn with the Butterup Sogn south of it . Until 1970 Tuse Sogn belonged to Harde Tuse Herred , Butterup Sogn to Merløse Herred , both in the then Holbæk office , then to the Holbæk municipality in the Vestsjællands office , which became part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 in the "new" Holbæk municipality in the region Sjælland has risen.
3387 inhabitants live in the parish, 1024 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish are the " Church of Tuse " and the "Butterup Kirke".
