Orø Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in Denmark , which includes the island of Orø and some uninhabited smaller islands in the Isefjord to the south .
Until April 1, 1933 she belonged to the Harde Horns Herred in the Frederiksborg office and was then added to the Tuse Herred in the then Holbæk office . From 1970 it belonged to the Holbæk municipality in the Vestsjællands office , which was merged into the "new" Holbæk municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
951 inhabitants live in the parish, 281 of them in the parish village of Bybjerg (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Orø Kirke” is located in the parish.
