Tuse Sogn is a former parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to the Harde Tuse Herred in the then Holbæk office , then to the Holbæk municipality in the Vestsjællands office , which was merged into the "new" Holbæk municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
On December 2, 2012, Tuse Sogn was merged with the southern neighboring municipality of Butterup Sogn to Butterup-Tuse Sogn . On October 1, 2012, 2881 inhabitants lived in the parish and 239 in Butterup Sogn.
The church of Tuse is in the parish .
Neighboring communities were Tveje Merløse Sogn in the east, Søstrup Sogn and Butterup Sogn in the south, Kundby Sogn in the south-west, Gislinge Sogn in the west and Hagested Sogn in the north .
