Frydendal Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Tuse Herred in the then Holbæk office , then to the Tornved municipality in the Vestsjællands office , which was merged into the Holbæk municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 . On December 2, 2012, Frydendal Sogn was merged with the neighboring Skamstrup Sogn to the west to form Skamstrup-Frydendal Sogn.
