Hørby Sogn was a parish community ( Dan. : Sogn ) on the Isefjord lying peninsula Tuse Næs on the island of Zealand in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to the Harde Tuse Herred in the then Holbæk office , then to the Holbæk municipality in the Vestsjællands office , which was merged into the "new" Holbæk municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 . On January 1, 2016, Hørby Sogn and the neighboring Udby Sogn to the east were merged to form Tuse Næs Sogn .
On October 1, 2015 there were 1,106 inhabitants in the parish. In the parish is the church "Hørby Kirke".
Neighboring communities are Hagested Sogn in the west and Udby Sogn in the east . A small exclave of Horby Sogn is located in the south-west of Tuse Sogn .
