Store Tåstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Merløse Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Tølløse Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Holbæk Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
1784 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church “Store Tåstrup Kirke”.
Neighboring municipalities are in the north-west Ugerløse Sogn , in the north Tølløse Sogn and in the north-east Kirke Eskilstrup Sogn , furthermore in the neighboring Ringsted municipality in the south-east Haraldsted Sogn and in the south Allindemagle Sogn and in the neighboring Sorø municipality in the west Stenmagle Sogn . Store Tåstrup Sogn has an exclave between neighboring Sogne Kirke Eskilstrup Sogn and Haraldsted Sogn.
