Høm Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ringsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Ringsted Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which became part of the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

650 inhabitants live in the parish, 481 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Høm Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the northwest Sigersted Sogn , in the northeast Ringsted Sogn and in the south Vetterslev Sogn .
