Nordrup Kirke

Nordrupøster Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ringsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Ringsted Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which became part of the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

595 inhabitants live in the parish, 233 of them in the parish village of Nordrup (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Nordrup Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Ørslev Sogn and Farendløse Sogn in the south , Ringsted Sogn in the north- west and Kværkeby Sogn in the north , and Gørslev Sogn in the neighboring Køge municipality to the west .
