Bringstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ringsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Ringsted Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which became part of the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

413 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Bringstrup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the north-west Gyrstinge Sogn , in the north Allindemagle Sogn , in the north-east Haraldsted Sogn , in the east Benløse Sogn , in the north-east and south-east Ringsted Sogn and in the south Sigersted Sogn , and also in the neighboring Sorø municipality Bjernede Sogn .
