Bjernede Kirke

Bjernede Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Alsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Sorø Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into the "new" Sorø Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the local reform on January 1, 2007 .

564 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The round church "Bjernede Kirke" is located in the parish .

Neighboring communities are Fjenneslev Sogn in the south-east, Slaglille Sogn in the south, Pedersborg Sogn in the west, Munke Bjergby Sogn in the north- west and Kirke Flinterup Sogn in the north , and Gyrstinge Sogn commune in the east, neighboring Ringsted .
