Ruds Vedby Kirke

Ruds Vedby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Løve Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Dianalund Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which became part of Sorø Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

2109 inhabitants live in the parish, 1,771 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Ruds Vedby Kirke" is located in the parish.

The neighboring municipality is Skellebjerg Sogn in the east, Ørslev Sogn in the neighboring Kalundborg municipality in the south , Finderup Sogn in the south- west, Sæby Sogn in the north - west and Reerslev Sogn in the north .
