Lynge Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Alsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Sorø Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into the "new" Sorø Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the local reform on January 1, 2007 .

4,724 inhabitants live in the parish, 200 of them in the parish. Also in Lynge Sogn is Frederiksberg with 3761 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).

The church "Lynge Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are in the north Pedersborg Sogn and Sorø Sogn , in the northeast Slaglille Sogn and in the east Vester Broby Sogn , further in the neighboring Næstved municipality in the southeast Næsby Sogn and in the south Tystrup Sogn and in the west neighboring Slagelse municipality in the southwest Kirkerup Sogn , in the west Sørbymagle Sogn and Antvorskov Sogn and in the northwest Ottestrup Sogn and Kindertofte Sogn .
