Munke Bjergby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Alsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Stenlille Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Sorø Kommune in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

1208 inhabitants live in the parish, 308 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Munke Bjergby Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Tersløse Sogn in the northwest , Stenlille Sogn in the northeast, Kirke Flinterup Sogn in the east, Bjernede Sogn in the southeast, Bjernede Sogn in the south and Bromme Sogn in the southwest , and Nordrupvester Sogn in the neighboring Slagelse municipality to the west .
