Fjenneslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Alsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Sorø Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn was merged into the enlarged Sorø Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
On January 1, 2020 there were 1019 inhabitants in the parish, 787 of them in the parish of Fjenneslev . The "Fjenneslev Kirke" lies on the territory of the municipality.
Neighboring communities are Alsted Sogn in the south, Slaglille Sogn in the west, Bjernede Sogn in the north-west , and Gyrstinge Sogn in the area of the Ringsted municipality in the north , Bringstrup Sogn in the north-east and Sigersted Sogn in the south-east .
