Vester Broby Kirke

Vester Broby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Alsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Sorø Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into the "new" Sorø Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the local reform on January 1, 2007 .

398 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Vester Broby Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Lynge Sogn in the west, Slaglille Sogn in the north and Alsted Sogn in the east , and Næsby Sogn in the neighboring Næstved municipality to the south .
