Vigersted Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ringsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Ringsted Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which became part of the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

1414 inhabitants live in the parish, 507 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Vigersted Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Jystrup Sogn and Valsølille Sogn in the north, Haraldsted Sogn in the west, Benløse Sogn in the south- west and Kværkeby Sogn in the south , and also in the neighboring Køge municipality Borup Sogn to the east .
