Benløse Kirke

Benløse Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ringsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Ringsted Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which became part of the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

Of the 22,898 inhabitants of Ringsted, 5,755 live in the parish of Benløse (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Benløse Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Haraldsted Sogn in the north, Vigersted Sogn in the north- east, Kværkeby Sogn in the south-east, Ringsted Sogn in the south and north-west and Bringstrup Sogn in the west .
